And creative blocks are no different, apart from the fact that they’re mostly creations of the mind. They are mental constructions created by our ancient brain trying to protect us from any kind of risk and if you want to create anything new or bold... you have to step into the dancefloor with them.

Your why it’s your deepest drive, and ultimately, it’s not affected by external circumstances. In a way, it’s what is important for you, what you’re going to do or pursue, no matter what’s going around you - if you found yourself on a desert island, if the economy is shaking like a mad old washing machine or if you won the lottery or the Oscars. It’s that deep desire inside you that knows very clearly what it wants, but that doesn't know how to speak very well. And, as you probably already know, in order to follow your purpose or act in alignment with it, we need a deliberate practice of hearing it and trusting it.
